Role. Graphic Designer

Surf Hardware International is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Mid-Weight Graphic Designer to join the Marketing team. The role is responsible for helping to drive the design and communication across our stable of brands, with a focus on FCS and Softech softboards.

You will be responsible for the design and development of artwork for a variety of applications, including print, digital, social, packaging and in-store. In addition, working with the rest of the Marketing team you will be assisting in the overall design and visual direction for seasonal marketing campaigns.

To be successful for this role you will require:

• 3-5 years design experience in a similar role and relevant industry
• Strong visual communication and design skills – keen eye for type, layout, illustration, animation & basic understanding of photography and video
• Experience participating and delivering strategically led creative work
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Ability to manage your time across several work streams with a high attention to detail
• Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills

The ideal applicant has a passion for surfing and outdoor pursuits with a solid understanding of the surrounding culture.

This position is for a 12-month contract with the option to extend.
